Introduction

The Electrolux EIMED55IIW is a mid-range dryer that has an MSRP around $1000. There were some elements about the EIMED55IIW that we really liked and some we found disappointing. The EIMED55IIW had a great control interface and a steam feature, but not many other options. While we liked a lot of the design elements, the dryer door sometimes didn't want to close. This inconsistency carried over to our test results as well, as some cycles didn't take very long and did a great job while others took significantly longer to evaporate much less water.
