Control it with your smartphone
Connects with other LG smart appliances
LCD touchscreen is user friendly
Could still confuse those who aren’t tech savvy
Introduction
As part of their push to display a suite of “smart” appliances at the 2012 Consumer Electronics Show, LG brought the WT6001HV, on sale in 2012. It’s a WiFi-enabled top-loading washer with an LCD touchscreen that can be controlled and monitored through a smartphone app. While users who have trouble setting up a router might want to stick with simpler devices, the advanced washer has a more elegant interface than its many-buttoned, disconnected counterpart.

The truth is, behind all the wonder of finding something new, this machine is just a regular dryer. It does a decent job at drying clothes, without delivering anything mind blowing. In fact, this machine is a little worse than some more traditional appliances – controls are limited and there’s no separate Timed Dry cycle.
