Decent set of wash options

Not stackable

Introduction

As part of Haier’s push into the American full-size appliance market, they introduced the HWF5000BW — the company’s first full-size front-loading washer — at the 2012 Consumer Electronics Show. We obviously couldn’t test its washing performance, but the prototype we saw had an impressive fit and finish, good selection of wash options and straightforward controls. With an MSRP of $699, it could very well be a promising new entrant to the low end of the segment. Once it debuts this summer, we’re looking forward to getting one into our lab to scientifically test how well it competes against units from more established brands.
